Dimitar Sabev (1976) is a Chief Assistant Professor at the Economic Research Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. As a green economist and journalist he investigates and studies the social and environmental impacts of mining, monetary assessment of ecosystem services, fiscal justice issues of foreign investments and quantitative indices for regional sustainable development.
