Gavrail Gavrailov

Gavrail Gavrailov, PhD, teaches "Social Entrepreneurship and Activism" at Plovdiv University "Paisii Hilendarski". He has a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in psychology in his hometown Plovdiv. He practises journalism at the Bulgarian National Radio - author of the rubric "Ima li megdan" on "Horizon" and an associate in the program "Hristo Botev".

He is a skillful explorer in various fields - sports, tourism, cultural heritage, social services, political processes, civic organizations. Author of five books about Bulgaria, two of them on rural tourism and one on the Danube region. Former executive director of the Thracian Tourist Region and regional manager of the "Programata" magazine in Plovdiv. Fluent in English, speaks Russian.
