Ivan Koutsarov
Ivan Kutsarov has over 18 years of experience in the NGO sector as a volunteer, project manager and strategic development manager. He joined the BlueLink team after working two years with one of the largest international humanitarian organizations, where he was mainly responsible for the volunteer network, Erasmus+ and projects with US partners in Sofia and Southern Bulgaria.
His interest in the development of civil society is at the heart of POLIS, a politics and security magazine where Ivan is a co-founder and editor-in-chief. Over the years, Ivan has been a columnist and author in Bulgarian media, working on various socio-historical topics.
He has devoted much of his time to the development of civic and humanitarian campaigns that have helped the community. Since his school years, he has been among the active chairmen of youth parliaments and councils, as well as among the leading figures in the youth organizations of Rotary International in Bulgaria - Rotaract and Interact. Ivan is the founder of the first Model National Assembly for young leaders in Bulgaria and among the organizers of the international Model UN in Sofia. His private sector experience includes communications, consulting and management, as well as management experience in the hospitality industry.
He holds a degree in Political Science from the New Bulgarian University. He is an avid traveller and photographer.
